Frequently Asked Questions:

1. How do we save our date and how does payment work?
A simple deposit is required to hold your date. This deposit is non-refundable as it is a payment for me marking my calendar off. The remaining amount is due on the date of service. I accept payment via cash, check. A contract would also need to be signed prior to any photography services being performed.

2. Can I provide you with a list of all the photographs that I want?
If there is a specific list of photos that are extremely important to you, absolutely….please let me know about them beforehand. I never mind specific requests. I do my best to capture it all.

3. What type of camera and equipment do you use?
I use professional Canon equipment. At the moment I am using the following:

Primary Camera: Canon EOS 5D Mark III, Backup Camera: Canon EOS 5D Mark III

Lenses: Canon EF 50 mm F1.4, Canon EF 24-70 mm F2.8L, Canon EF 70-200 mm F2.8L ISM II

Flashes: Canon 600EX II-RT.

4. Do you have any backdrops?
Yes, I have plain black, plain white, and green screen backdrops that can be used for portraits and group shots in my studio.

5. How many images can I expect?
I average about 50 images an hour during an event. Please note this is just an average and not a guaranteed amount. The actual number may be more or less depending on the level of activity during your event.

6. When can I expect my images?
I try my best to give you the edited pictures in 6 weeks.

7. Do you do any editing/post processing?
Yes, I do basic editing which includes color correction of all images, as well as converting selected images to black and white, sepia, and black and white with a touch of color photos. Advanced editing/retouching can be done for an additional charge.

8. What is your photographic style?
I prefer the photojournalistic/candid approach. However, if you are looking for more traditional (posed) shots, I can handle these as well. I find that for most occasions a mix of both is usually necessary.

9. Do you have any studio lights/light modifiers?
Yes, I have a set of portable umbrellas with 3200 Watts of lights that can be used for portraits and group shots in my studio.
